This light-steamed tea carefully adjusts sunlight exposure by covering the young leaves with a black net. Harvested as the very first pick (Ichibancha), these tender buds undergo approximately 6 hours of sun-drying after plucking which goes under a withering process.This exceptional sencha is a testament to the rich history and expertise found in the renowned tea-producing region of Sayama, one of Japan's three major tea origins (Uji, Shizuoka, and Sayama).
