Canada — taxes and fees on delivery
Tea is duty-free into Canada. Canadian customs may still collect GST/HST and, where applicable, PST, depending on the province, when the imported goods are valued above CA$20. Canada Post or courier carriers may also collect a handling or brokerage fee. These charges are set by Canadian customs and the carrier, and are not included in our shipping price.

Europe — VAT and customs
Orders are shipped from Japan with tracking. For destinations in the EU, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, import VAT and any customs or carrier handling fees are charged by the destination country on delivery — they are not included in our shipping price. Tea itself carries little or no customs duty in most of Europe; import VAT, set by your local tax authority, is the main charge.
We are currently unable to ship to a small number of destinations. If checkout does not show a shipping option for your country, please contact us — we will do our best to help.
About US Shipping
For customers in the United States, we offer two tracked shipping options from Japan — Standard and Express — both listed in the table above. Standard is our most economical option; while it usually arrives within 7–14 business days, customs processing and local delivery conditions can occasionally extend this to around 21 business days. Express shipping is available at checkout when you would like your tea to arrive sooner.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
